BECOME A MEMBER

If you are interested and in becoming a member of the Windsor Essex Food Bank Association, please submit the WEFBA Membership Application Form to the Unemployment Help Centre.

 

Membership Eligibility Requirements:

  • Agree to abide by the Code of ethics of the Windsor and Essex County Food Bank Association (WEFBA), as attached.

  • Responsibilities include the collection and distribution of food to help those in need.

  • Must be a charitable, non-profit organization registered, or in the process of being registered, with Revenue Canada with proof of intent.

  • Have been in operation for a minimum of one (1) year as an active standing food bank. 

  • The minimum amount of nutritional food given will cover a three (3) day supply depending on availability of food.

  • Attend all meetings, send a delegate, or send a report.

  • Collaborate with other partners to alleviate and eradicate hunger.

  • Must have access to a computer and internet.
